Hi, I’m Mike, the founder of Indianapolis Tree Care.
Growing up in Indianapolis, I’ve always connected deeply with the trees that make our city so special. Whether the massive oaks shading our streets or the bright maples in our parks, these trees were part of my everyday life.
After years of working in tree care and learning the ins and outs of arboriculture, I realized that I wanted to start something of my own—a tree service company that truly cares about the people and the trees in our community.
How It All Started
Back in 2018, with just a few tools and a lot of determination, I launched Indianapolis Tree Care. My goal was simple: to help my neighbors take care of their trees and to make sure our city’s landscape stays healthy and beautiful. From day one, it’s been about more than just trimming branches or removing stumps; it’s about building relationships and making sure that every job we do is done with care and precision.
The Trees In Indianapolis
Indianapolis is home to an incredible variety of trees, from towering sycamores to elegant tulip trees, which are our state tree.
But living in Indiana means our trees have to deal with some tough conditions. Winters here can be brutal, with ice and snow that can easily break branches. In the spring and summer, we get those intense thunderstorms that can bring down limbs or even entire trees. Plus, the compacted soil, pollution, and limited space can make it hard for trees to thrive.
